The Kohima centre of Eagle Crest Training Academy and Consultancy (ECTAAC) was inaugurated at Don Bosco College, Kohima (DBCK), on October 7, strengthening the institutions’ collaboration on skill development, employability and career opportunities.
DBCK Principal Rev. Fr. Dr Tious Varghese stressed the importance of creating opportunities that complement students’ academic education and prepare them for the future.
ECTAAC CEO Temjenkala Aier said the academy seeks to bridge education and employment through career-oriented training, industry linkages and placement opportunities. She said ECTAAC plans to conduct placement drives and bring companies from across the country to the campus.
Aier said the collaboration, which began in 2021, would bring career-oriented opportunities closer to students and youth in Kohima. The programme also featured a briefing on ECTAAC courses and an interactive session with students and parents.
