The Government of Nagaland marked a significant milestone in its digital education journey with the official launch of the Integrated Data Platform (IDP) Nagaland by Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for School Education & SCERT.

Nagaland launches Integrated Data Platform
The event brought together the State Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, L Jamithung Lotha, IAS, officials from Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, the School Education Department, representatives from ConveGenius, and other key stakeholders, reflecting the state’s commitment to strengthening governance through technology.

The IDP consolidates Nagaland’s diverse educational datasets into a single, unified platform. Previously dispersed across multiple portals and formats, educational data often lacked visibility, making timely and informed decision-making difficult. With the launch of IDP, this challenge is addressed through a centralized framework that enables real-time monitoring, greater transparency, and more efficient planning across all levels of the education ecosystem, according to an update received here.

The platform currently hosts eleven dashboards covering major domains of school functioning. Among these, the attendance dashboard is already live, providing real-time insights from schools across the state.

In his address, the Advisor acknowledged ConveGenius for developing a solution tailored to Nagaland’s education system. He emphasized that the IDP will significantly enhance the functioning of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK), the state’s central hub for data analysis and decision support. With richer datasets and streamlined data flow, the VSK can now better support districts in identifying trends, diagnosing challenges, and responding quickly to emerging needs.

Alongside IDP, the government unveiled SwiftChat, a unified application for students, teachers, school heads, field officials, and administrators to capture data on attendance, assessments, feedback, and other activities. The Samagra Shiksha Civil App was also launched to digitize monitoring of civil works funded under the education sector, enabling on-site progress tracking with photographs and updates.

Together, IDP Nagaland, SwiftChat, and the Civil App mark a new chapter in Nagaland’s digital transformation efforts, aimed at improving governance, enhancing delivery systems, and achieving better outcomes for schools and communities.
