In a distress call on his YouTube channel, popular content creator Seb Naga brought attention to the alarming presence of rampaging elephants in his village. Mokokchung Times reached out to Tokaho H Kinimi IFS, Wildlife Warden of the Wildlife Division, for insights into the situation.

According to Kinimi, his staff was on duty at Sendenyu New, confirming that the elephants have returned to Wokha district towards Hankvu, with Rumensinyu caught in between. While there have been damages to plantations and hutments, no serious incidents have been reported thus far.

The Wildlife Warden explained, “This area is a prime elephant habitat, and they are on the move foraging for food. We can expect more such videos. It’s the lean season now so the elephants will really be on the move.” Kinimi emphasized that the ongoing animal-human conflict will persist as more forest areas are cleared.

I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
