Kohima, 23 September (MTNews): The 13th general session and freshers’ meet of the Khulazu Basa Students’ Union Kohima (KBSUK) was held at the Red Cross Conference Hall in Kohima on Saturday under the theme, “Empowering the Next Generation: Unlocking Potential and Inspiring Change.”

Vekhoyi Tetseo, Deputy Registrar of Nagaland University Lumami, who spoke on the theme, emphasized the role of student leaders as role models for the next generation. He stressed the importance of empowering and inspiring younger students.

 

Tetseo encouraged students to believe in themselves and highlighted that low self-esteem and lack of confidence can hinder one’s potential. He also emphasized the importance of hard work, stating that one may be overlooked if they do not put in effort.

 

Regarding inspiration, Tetseo underscored the significance of education, advising students to aim for high academic performance. However, he added that academic excellence alone is insufficient without clear goals.
