Mokokchung, 25 June (MTNews): The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) organized a financial literacy workshop in Mon district on Saturday. This workshop aligned with WENN’s 2023 theme of promoting financial literacy and was conducted in collaboration with the State Bank of India (SBI). This event marked the third workshop in a series planned for nine districts of Nagaland throughout the year.
The workshop witnessed the participation of 181 women entrepreneurs representing diverse sectors. The attendees displayed remarkable enthusiasm and eagerness to enhance their knowledge of financial literacy, making the program a resounding success.
Mr Ari Longchar, the branch manager of SBI Mon town, served as the resource person for the workshop. He delved into various aspects of financial literacy, providing comprehensive insights into financial management, different types of accounts, loans, credit scores, and other crucial topics relevant to entrepreneurs.
The Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland remains committed to organizing more such events to empower and support women entrepreneurs across the state, WENN said in a tweet.
