Tuensang, August 24 (MTNews): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has applauded the Nagaland state government for organizing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conclave 2022 in the state, which it termed was a first of its kind and a ground breaking initiative.
ENSF said that the initiative taken up by the state government in a bid to facilitate the young and budding entrepreneurs, start-ups and educated intelligentsia of the state to revive the state economy and to cater employment opportunities through the CSR initiatives is plausibly the need of the hour. “Taking cognizance of the unemployment and economic crisis of the state, inter alia the conclave to streamline the existing system to generate financial literacy of the banking sector and to push up micro-financing for entrepreneurs, start-ups and SHGs both in urban and rural areas is a commendable job as in the case of rural areas the whole lot of rural flocks are engaged in agrarian sectors and livestock farming to meet their sustainable livelihood,” ENSF added.
The Federation expressed optimism that the initiative will bring about holistic development in the state socially, economically and developmentally and will “colossally contribute towards a robust development in healthcare, employment, education sector, infrastructure and sustainable livelihood.”
ENSF acknowledged the state machinery headed by the Governor of Nagaland, Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) IDAN, Development Commissioner, Finance Commissioner and all the investors from across the country for paving a way of opportunities to the people of the state in “expounding and imbibing the concept and ideas of CSR investment and banking” in the state of Nagaland.
