Mokokchung, 25 June (MTNews): A Penalty Shootout Tournament, organized by Mokokchung Senso Kaketshir Telongjen (MSKT), reached a thrilling climax at the Mokokchung Village Local Ground on Saturday.
The tournament brought together teams from across the Mokokchung district, competing for the coveted title. After a series of intense matches and gripping moments, ‘Etu Poisa Lobu Lobu’ emerged victorious in a dramatic finale, an update said.
The final match showcased a high-octane showdown between ‘Etu Poisa Lobu Lobu’ and ‘Youngsters A’ from Mokokchung. In the end, it was ‘Etu Poisa Lobu Lobu’ who emerged triumphant, securing the championship title in a fiercely contested match.
The tournament served as a platform for 34 teams to showcase their skills and compete against each other.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Watitemsu Longkumer was awarded the title of the best goalkeeper from the 30K team.
