Mangkolemba, 15 December (MTNews): The Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mangkolemba block inaugurated a farm school on Vegetable Farming at Longjemdang village on 14 December 2023. Resource person Limawapangla BTM, Mangkolemba block briefed the farmers on the concept function and the role of a farm school and its objectives.
She also discussed the importance of tapping the economic and nutritional importance of vegetables and also highlighted the importance of vegetable farming and its benefits and ascertaining quality seeds, optimal time of sowing and method of planting.
A total of 20 farmers attended the training program where neem oil, seedling trays, and rakes were provided to the farmers.
