Mokokchung, July 24 (MTNews): The Hostel Committee, Fazl Ali College organized an ‘Orientation Program’ for the hostellers on Saturday attended by 175 hostellers.
P. Tiatemsu Mollier, Assistant Professor of Botany and Warden, Cool Creek Boys’ Hostel, oriented the students on the facilities and the rules and regulations of the hostels. On behalf of the senior hostellers, the welcome speech was delivered by M. Temsulemla, Prefect of Valley View Girls Hostel.
Yashimongla from Athena Girls Hostel, FAC, subject topper in Mathematics with CGPA 6.44 under Nagaland University was felicitated during the program by the Hostel Committee. Dr. Temjenwapang, Principal, Fazl Ali College exhorted the boarders to be responsible and diligent students.
The program was chaired by Mr Kushemyimjong Chang, Assistant Professor of Political science (warden of Nathan Boys’ Memorial Hostel).Dr Ziuziu, Assistant Professor of Functional English (Warden of Valley View Girls Hostel) said the invocation. Ms.Leremmongla Yaden, Assistant Professor of Education (Warden, Athena Girls’ Hostel) welcomed and encouraged the hostellers to do well in their studies and also to co-operate in the hostel activities. Evangelical Union (EU), Fazl Ali College presented a special song. The benediction was pronounced by Rev. Lima Lemtor, Pastor, Union Church, FAC Campus.
