The Department of Philosophy, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, organized the fifth session of The Thinking Hat Talk Series on October 15, 2025, at the College Conference Hall. The session was chaired by Dr. Alemtola, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy.

The resource person for the session was Prof. Rev. Dr. K. Dhanbir Rai, Professor of Religion at Clark Theological College, Mokokchung, who delivered a lecture on the topic “Philosophy of Bhagavad Gita and its Correlation with Indian Politics and Hindu Fundamentalists.”

During his address, Prof. Rai explored the moral and philosophical dimensions of the Bhagavad Gita and reflected on their relevance to contemporary social and political contexts. He underscored the importance of conscience in moral decision-making and emphasized the need for both individuals and society to uphold ethical values.

The talk concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session that allowed participants to share their perspectives and seek clarifications. The event ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Bendanginla, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy.
