The Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign 2024 was organized at the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Food Storage Depot (FSD) in Phesama on October 29, 2024, to promote cleanliness and environmental sustainability. The event featured activities such as a Cleanliness Drive and a Tree Plantation Drive, conducted within the depot premises and the surrounding locality.

The Divisional Manager of the FCI Divisional Office in Dimapur, along with staff members from FSD Phesama, participated in the campaign. Participants cleaned up the depot by removing litter. During the Tree Plantation Drive, saplings were planted.

The initiative is part of the larger Swachh Bharat Mission, which encourages citizens to actively contribute to a cleaner, greener India. Divisional Manager stressed on the importance of ‘collective responsibility’ for cleanliness and conservation.
