Kohima is set to come alive with the roar of engines and the thrill of high-speed action as the Festival of Speed, presented by JK Tyre Motorsport, kicks off on April 12, 2025, at Thizama, 4th Battalion NAP. The event, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Nagaland Adventure & MotorSports Association (NAMSA), promises a spectacular motorsport showcase for enthusiasts across the state and beyond.
The celebration will feature a choreographed show packed with power and precision, including Formula 4 and Wolf Cars, RotEx Go-Karts, and drift-ready Lexus and BMW machines. Spectators can also expect heart-pounding stunts performed by four specially modified Baleno cars and a display of speed and style from superbikes like the Honda CBR 650 and Suzuki GSX 750.
Entry to the event is free, though access will be restricted after 2:00 PM. The action begins at 2:00 PM and is expected to draw large crowds eager to witness Kohima’s streets transform into a racing spectacle.
