MDGBA, Power Department collaborate to provide much needed utility
Mokokchung, July 19 (MTNews): A much needed facility for the people of Mokokchung at the town cemetery was realized today with the installation and commissioning of electricity at the cemetery. The Mokokchung District Gaon Bura Association (MDGBA) in collaboration with the power dept today commissioned electricity at the town cemetery in the presence of Achanger SDO (Electrical) and Marepkong Ward Chairman and officials of the MDGBA.
It may be noted here that the town cemetery had no electricity connection till today and those working at the cemetery had to arrange various power backups on their own in order to complete their works. Seeing the need for the electricity connection at the cemetery, the MDGBA under the leadership of its president Along Jamir, also Vice president NGBA, took the initiative and got it materialized today.
