Dr Sajjan Singh Yadav, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, arrived in Nagaland on April 27 for a two-day visit to review projects implemented under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme.
During his visit to Chumoukedima, Yadav inspected ongoing works at the Police Complex, including the Officers’ Mess and Football Stadium, as well as the Unity Mall project and infrastructure at Chumoukedima Police Station constructed under SASCI 2023–24.
He was accompanied by Finance Commissioner and Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister, Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, along with other senior officials. The visit is aimed at assessing project implementation and utilisation of funds under centrally supported schemes in the state.
