Speaking on the occasion, Teka Imchen, Youth Coordinator, ABAM, Impur, encouraged the students by saying that every person, right after birth, partakes in worldly competitions and that, in today’s competitive world, it is not an easy task to “survive and achieve the best if we are not vigilant and hardworking.”
Amenty Welfare and Educational Society’s Managing Director, Imdongshilu Ao, conveyed the welcome speech and also explained the objective of instituting the award. He also expressed the Society’s interest to pursue further works in the future for the welfare of the students and the community.
The award was given to the meritorious students of classes 1 to 9 from the five schools in Longjang village, Mokokchung. It is also limited to genuine Longjang citizens. A total of 9 meritorious students were awarded on the day.
