To foster unity among the Nagas in Myanmar amid ongoing political unrest, the Naga Students’ Organization (NSO) held its first-ever sports meet in Lahe from October 14 to 22, 2024 under the theme, “Unity through Sports.” The event aimed to create a shared platform for young Naga leaders and youths to connect and strengthen bonds through athletic competition and fellowship.

The week-long meet concluded successfully on October 22, without any disruptions. NSO representatives extended their gratitude to all supporters and participants, crediting a safe and positive experience to community collaboration and divine blessings.

“We also would like to express our highest gratitude and thankfulness to all who have generously contributed towards us,” stated an NSO representative. “Your support not only helps us achieve our mission to successfully organize the football tournament, but it also enhances our ability to serve our community more effectively.”
