Changtongya, 19 December (MTNews): A new HPCL Fuel Station was inaugurated at New Medical Colony in Changtongya town by C Wangan (NCS), SDO (Civil) Changtongya today. The event was attended by Village Council members of the Changtongya area, All Ward Chairmen’s Union, GBs Union of Changtongya town, and Church leaders from the surrounding areas. This marks the first Fuel Station in Changtongya town.
During his inaugural speech, SDO Civil Changtongya congratulated the proprietor of Tir Service Station and expressed gratitude to HPCL for providing much-needed services to the people in Changtongya. He stated, “It is a red-letter day for the people of Changtongya area, and it should be our responsibility to protect public properties and services.” He assured all possible support and cooperation to the oil company.
The dedication ceremony began with a prayer by Moameren, the pastor of Longchara Baptist Church, followed by a mass prayer to conclude the event. The proceedings were conducted by Meren Imsong, Associate pastor (Youth) of Longchara Baptist Church.
