Mokokchung, 29 March (MTNews): The Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (Konyak Baptist Churches Association) ordained Y Thrangmo Konyak for Christian ministry on 26 March, 2023 at Mission Centre Baptist Church, Mon.
Rev Y Thrangmo Konyak is the first woman to be ordained by the Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum. On behalf of the Ordination Council of the Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum, Rev T Honlong Konyak ordained Rev Y Thrangmo Konyak.
Rev Y Thrangmo Konyak is also the first Konyak woman deacon of Baptist Church (Mission Centre Baptist Church, Mon). She is the wife of Mr Mankang, who is teaching at the Mon Theological College.
