‘First MP to grace the JKM as Chief Guest’, Alongtaki Congress thanks Supongmeren

The 30 Alongtaki Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and President of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), S. Supongmeren Jamir, for attending the 78th Japukong Kaketshir Mungdang (Japukong Students’ Conference) as the Chief Guest. The event, hosted by Lirmen Village in Mokokchung District, was held on January 9, 2025.

According to A. Chuba Longkumer, President of the 30 Alongtaki ACCC, the occasion marked a historic moment as it was the first time an MP had graced the Japukong Students’ Conference as the Chief Guest. “This will go down in history as the first MP to grace the JKM as the Chief Guest,” Longkumer stated.

The ACCC extended its gratitude to the Japukong Kaketshir Mungdang and its Planning Committees for bestowing this honor upon the MP. “It is our prayer that Almighty God will always guide him to lead our people,” the statement read.
