The issue of overlapping dates for different Government jobs is a major concern for aspirants. This situation creates unnecessary stress for candidates who are eligible and interested in applying for multiple posts but are forced to choose between them due to clashing schedules.
Candidates preparing for multiple exams encounter date clashes – two or more exams schedule on the same day like for Zoology students preparing for both NPSC Technical as well as for departmental forest guard exams or exams to be held within an impractically no gap days again for Zoology students in NPSC technical unlike other subject students who get many days gap for preparing especially with the new exam pattern which include both MCQs and descriptive.
This not only forces the aspirants to make a tough decision but may also result in missing out on opportunities they are well equipped for. Resolving this issue by the concerned authority will not only reduce stress for candidates but also ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process for all especially on the context for Zoology students.
Last year NPSC CESE clashed with the Hornbill Festival and this year NPSC clashes with departmental exams on the same day and month. I’m wondering whether the board or departments before fixing the schedule for exams try to know this matter. If this kind of trend goes on it will be of great loss for the qualified or eligible candidates who have applied for both the exams and in the coming future too.
I request the honourable board & departmental heads to kindly look into this matter for the welfare of the aspirants.
Thanking You
