The Directorate of Food & Civil Supplies, Nagaland, has released a circular outlining the eligibility criteria for the General Household (GHH) scheme under the Tide-over scheme. This initiative targets citizens and indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland with an annual income exceeding ¹ 2.50 lakh, who are not covered under the National Food Security Act’s Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Household (PHH) schemes.

According to the circular, the eldest female member (18+ years) of the household will be designated as the head for ration card issuance. In the absence of an eligible female, the eldest male will assume this responsibility. All family members must submit their Aadhaar cards along with their applications in the prescribed format.

Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2024, to the District Food & Civil Supplies Office, Dimapur, for processing.
