In yet another boost to the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), Richard Yimto, Rtd. IGP and his wife formally joined the Congress Party on Sunday in the presence of Member of Lok Sabha, S Supongmeren Jamir and Ranajit Mukherjee, AICC Secretary Incharge of Nagaland. Richard Yimto is the son in law of Lt. Yamakam, former minister of Nagaland and Congress legislator from 58 Shamator–Chessore AC.
“We warmly welcome them into the Congress family fold and wish them all well in their endeavours,” the NPCC communications department said in a release on Sunday.
