Ahead of the Tuli Town Council election in Mokokchung, four women candidates have been declared adhering to the 33% reservation policy. In Tuli, three wards fall under reservation. Shilutila and Chubarenla have been declared unopposed from Ait Lenten and Patizüng wards respectively.
Meanwhile, Temsuinla and Akumlemla are set to contest from Tulikong ward. The announcement came during a consultative meeting organized by Watsü Mungdang in Tuli town today. (MTNews)
