Lazami, 24 September (MTNews): The Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement (NCYM) in collaboration with St Francis of Assisi Parish, Lazami organized a Free Medical Camp on 24 September 2023 at Lazami Village Council hall.
Dr Lowrence Kithan, President NCYM chaired the short session and also gave a brief introduction of the Doctors and welcomed them all, while an invocation prayer was led by Fr Paul Inashe, Parish Priest of St Francis of Assisi. He also conveyed his utmost gratitude to the Doctors and NCYM officials for taking the initiative which proceeded by the inaugural opening of the medical camp by Fr Vekupa George, Director, NCYM.
Dr Renthunglo Patton, MBBS, Dr Angel K Elsa, MBBS, Dr Ketuolelhou Vizo, MDS, Dr Khonou Mary Belho, BAMS, Dr Akhrieno Teresa, BDS, Dr Kevidenu Kehie, BDS, Ms Veronica Nriame, Psychiatric Social Worker, NHAK along with the medical staff and nurses from Lazami volunteered their services for the day. More than 400 people were examined and given free medicines prescribed by the doctors present at the medical camp.
