Hailing from Kohima, Fifth Note is the latest addition to Frontiers’ roster, an Italian-based record label renowned for discovering and promoting exceptional musical talent worldwide. Their debut full-length album, “Here We Are,” features Fifth Note’s initial singles, showcasing a finely crafted collection of Hard Rock tracks infused with a Progressive Metal edge. The band is dedicated to promoting a lifestyle devoid of drugs and alcohol while delivering feel-good music.

Fifth Note originated in 2019, evolving from a Christian-themed band, and draws its musical inspiration primarily from secular Progressive Metal and Classic Hard Rock genres. While Progressive Music can sometimes tread into self-indulgence, Fifth Note strikes a primal chord in their music, offering infectious melodies and a polished sound.

Like many bands in their genre, Fifth Note began their journey by performing cover songs, including tracks from label mates like Stryper and Circus Maximus, as well as classics from Dream Theater, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Journey, and more. However, fueled by growing interest in their original music and demand from fans, the band released their own singles, “Misfortune” and “Here We Are,” in 2021. These original songs catapulted the band to prominence, inspiring them to reach greater heights with support from fans in Nagaland and beyond.

Fifth Note has graced the stage at numerous events and programs, earning several awards in their homeland and amassing a dedicated following in their country.
