Guwahati, 26 April (MTNews): The Guwahati Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (GENSU) through a press release informed that a lot of fraud companies and agencies are operating in Guwahati recently which promises alluring jobs.
According to the student body, many Nagas have fallen prey to the diddling practices happening in the city and said that they have rescued many who were victims of the deception and scammers.
The union also said some Naga “brothers and sisters” were actively involved in the fraudulent dealings associated with the scammers to lure and deceive “our own fellow citizens and to procure money from them illegally” have come to light. Calling it highly unacceptable and condemnable, the union stated that legal actions will be initiated against those individuals found indulging in these kinds of activities.
“The union in its best capacity has been trying to curb this issue,” the union stated and advised Nagas to stay alert and not to succumb to such trap and manipulation without authenticating the genuinity of the company.
“The union will be constantly standing by to assist any individuals with any job-related query, medical assistance, or any support needed from our end within the ambit of the city,” the union added and asked the people to reach out to the given numbers for the same.
