Government High School (GHS) Phüsachodü in Phek District marked Cultural Day today as part of the ongoing Shiksha Saptah, running from July 22 to 28, 2024. The event, conducted under the guidelines of the Nagaland Education Mission Society and Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, featured a vibrant display of the Chakhesang tribe’s traditions.
Students and teachers from GHS Phüsachodü actively participated in the celebration, which highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Chakhesang community. The day’s activities included performances of traditional folktales, folk songs, and folk dances, offering a vivid showcase of the tribe’s colorful customs and traditions.
