Government High School, Saring organized a grand thanksgiving and felicitation ceremony to honor the successful candidates of the NBSE/HSLC Examination 2023.
Among the dignitaries present were Sentinenla, the District Education Officer (DEO) of Mokokchung, N Orenthung Kikon, the Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) of Longchem, and Imkongwapang, the Assistant District Coordinator of SAMAGRA. Additionally, students’ leaders from Japukong and Saringyim, Saringyim Village Council members, church leaders, and parents graced the occasion.
During her speech, the DEO, Sentinenla, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the students and teachers for their exceptional performance, resulting in a 100% pass rate in the HSLC examination for the past five consecutive years. She commended the school’s remarkable achievement and attributed its success to the dedication of the passionate teachers, support from the community, and the relentless hard work put in by the students.
Addressing the gathering, the EAC, N Orenthung Kikon, emphasized the limitless potential of the human mind and encouraged the students never to underestimate their capabilities.
Imkongwapang, the Teacher-in-Charge of the school, delivered a felicitation message and recounted the school’s journey over the past five years. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the church leaders in organizing an annual dedication prayer program for the students. Imkongwapang also expressed his appreciation for the support received from the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) and the Village Council, both materially and financially.
Jamir also thanked the parents for their care and support and congratulated the successful students. Saringyim Village Council also gave away Rs.5,000 each to the successful students.
