GMS Pongentola held its ‘annual sports week’ from 4th – 6th April. The first two days of the event was held at the Assam Rifles Ground, Mokokchung. The final day of the sporting event was held at the school premises with participation from all the students including the special needs children of the school. The three day sporting event saw students participate in events such as Futsal, high jump, shot put, relay race, 100m and 200 m race, and tug-of-war. Musical chair, bursting-the-balloon, balancing race, spoon race were some of the events held for the special needs students.
