The Gorkha Students’ Union Dimapur, in collaboration with the Gorkha Youth Club Dimapur, celebrated the 210th Bhanu Jayanti cum Felicitation program at the Christian Hr. Sec School Hall in Dimapur.
The program, hosted by Roshan Pradhan, Convenor of the GSUD, began with an invocation prayer by Shishir Lama, Youth Secretary of the Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland, followed by a welcome address presented by Prem Lama, President of GYCD.
On the occasion, Suraj Rai, Vice President of the Nagaland Gorkha Association, addressed the gathering, highlighting the significant contributions of Adi Kavi Acharya Bhanu Bhakta Acharya.
The event continued with presentations, HSLC & HSSLC felicitation, and a cultural session. A dance was performed by the Tamang Buddhist Youth Association, followed by a welcome dance by the Lotha Colony Youth Club. The vote of thanks was delivered by Miss Imnatula Chetri, President of GSUD.
