The Governor of Nagaland has designated officers of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) as the First Appellate Authority (FAA), Public Information Officer (PIO), and Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) with immediate effect.
The designated officers are: Sentiwapang Aier, Additional Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, as First Appellate Authority (FAA). His office is at NSDMA, Home Department, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima (Phone: 0370-2270050).
Temsuwangshi Jamir, Assistant Manager (Research & Planning), as Public Information Officer & Nodal Officer (PIO & NO), also at NSDMA, Home Department, Nagaland Civil Secretariat (Phone: 0370-2270050).
Kevisede Usou, Section Assistant (Research & Planning), as Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO), NSDMA, Home Department, Nagaland Civil Secretariat (Phone: 0370-2270050).
The Home Department stated that in the absence of any of the designated officers due to leave, training, official duty, or tour, the link officer of that PIO/FAA will automatically assume the responsibilities of the PIO or FAA for that duration.
This designation ensures compliance with Right to Information (RTI) provisions, facilitating transparency and public access to information within the NSDMA.
