Mokokchung, 6 October (MTNews): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji, has issued a directive for all government employees to prepare for election duty for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The Deputy Commissioner has instructed the heads of all offices operating within the district to submit a comprehensive list of employees and departmental vehicles by 17 October. Poji emphasized that any staff members nearing retirement within six months or currently on study or medical leave should have their status explicitly mentioned, supported by relevant documentary proof.
Additionally, he stated that any deliberate acts of commission or omission would be treated seriously. Poji further warned that failure to provide a complete list of employees under each
establishment would result in strict disciplinary actions in accordance with Election law.
