The GPRN/NSCN (U) has declared its support for the Ungma and Zunheboto resolutions pushed by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), which aim to bring all Naga nationalist political groups under a single platform. The decision was taken at the group’s annual meeting with regional authorities on Friday, attended by representatives from all 23 regions. This was informed in a press release.
The house also adopted a resolution reaffirming support for the leadership of President Gen. (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser Inno Alezo Venuh, endorsing them to continue guiding the Naga political process “toward its rightful and logical conclusion.”
In his address, Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh urged members to uphold the organization’s guiding principle of “Nagaland for Christ.” He cautioned that the Naga people had strayed from the original purpose of the movement, saying increasing focus on material ambitions and political power had weakened unity and moral clarity. He called for renewed commitment to integrity and reconciliation.
Kilonser for Kilo Affairs, Huvito Yepthomi, acknowledged the work of regional staff and called for consistent discipline in carrying out assignments.
