The GPRN/NSCN on Thursday “warmly welcomed the bold decision” of the selfless leaders of the UNPG/NNC led by Ato Kilonser Tsaliba Sangtam and Kilo Kilonser Tono Zhimo, after the group decided to integrate and join the GPRN/NSCN mainstream under the collective leadership of President Maj (Retd) RM Lotha and Ato Kilonser N Kitovi Zhimomi.
In a statement issued by its MIP, the GPRN/NSCN said it “appreciates and recognized their decision towards consolidation of the indispensable unity and shared aspiration,” adding that the step acknowledges “the sentiments and impatience of the Naga people,” which was “clearly demonstrated on 18th of Nov 2025, ‘Naga Common Platform’ at Agri-Expo Centre, Chumoukedima,” in relation to the resolution of the protracted Indo-Naga political talks, which “has already been concluded on 31st of Oct. 2019.”
