The 23rd Nagaland Inter-District Football Championship pool draw for the Dr T Ao Trophy 2024 was announced on Friday by the Nagaland Football Association. Group A is the ‘Group of Death,’ with defending champion Dimapur, Nagaland Olympic champion Chümoukedima, Nuiland, and Phek districts clubbed together.
Only the group winner and runner-up will progress to the quarterfinal round.
Mokokchung is grouped with Longleng, Kiphire, and hosts Tuensang in Pool C.
Tuensang is gearing up to host the prestigious 23rd Dr. T. Ao Inter-District Tournament, scheduled to take place from September 17 to 27, 2024, at Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang. The tournament will be hosted by the Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) and organized by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
