The Office of the Commissioner of State Taxes, Nagaland has announced that it will organize a one-day training programme on Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Government Department Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), registered dealers, taxpayers and other stakeholders in Mokokchung.
The training will take place on August 21 at Ao Temulung Kilem, Alongmen Ward, Mokokchung Town, starting at 10 a.m. Registration for DDOs will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the same day.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of State Taxes, the sessions will cover important provisions of GST, including TDS registration and filing of returns for DDOs, GST registration and filing of returns for dealers, payment procedures, refund mechanisms, offences, and input tax credit (ITC). The training will be conducted by resource persons and technical teams from the Commissionerate Office.
All concerned officials, registered taxpayers and business representatives have been encouraged to participate in the training to enhance their knowledge and ensure compliance with GST laws.
