Family Welfare Department to issue disability certificate
Kohima, 15 June (MTNews): The Health & Family Welfare Department has been appointed as the Competent Authority for the issuance of Disability Certificates, as stated in Para-51 of the Right to Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and Para-16 of the P&AR Department notification dated 13 August 2020. This designation allows the department to issue Disability Certificates for various purposes, including employment, education, and accessing provisions for Persons with Disabilities.
