Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B Henok Buchem, along with Revenue Officer Kohima, Kevingoto Kulnu, Extra Assistant Commissioner Kezocha, Limakumla Pongener, Executive Engineer PHED Rural Kohima, Er. Kedo Punyü, DDMO NSDMA Kohima, Thejangulie Zao, SDO PHED, and other officials visited Kezoma village to assess the damaged water pipeline, with the Village Council, WATSAN committee, and other village representatives on 19th September 2025.

During a meeting, the Kezoma Village Council reported that after NH-02 was cut off at Phesama, all Manipur-bound heavy vehicles were diverted via the Kezoma-Kidima road (MDR). As a result, high-volume traffic of heavy vehicles and incessant rains deteriorated the road, damaging the adjacent village water pipeline and disrupting water supply, causing hardship to villagers.
