The Heiwa Music Home (HMH) Kohima held its 2nd Eudor Recital on April 26 at the Red Cross Building, Kohima.

The recital was attended by parents, well-wishers, and passionate music lovers.

Students presented a varied range of pieces, from classical to contemporary styles of music.

Special artist Lothungbeni M. Okhyopvui, a classical voice major at the Nagaland College of Music & Fine Arts (NCMFA), Jotsoma, enthralled the gathering with her alluring voice.

Aosenla Longchar, Proprietor of HMH, called upon the gathering to continue extending support to the music community, especially young talents.

She further affirmed that music can no longer be taken solely as a form of entertainment but should be recognised as an art subject that can open employment opportunities for musicians.

Later, HMH presented award certificates along with cash prizes to Liasen Aier and Moasen Jamir, who topped the East India Rock School of London (RSL) Exam 2024.

Certificates were also awarded to successful students under the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) 2024.

The event was hosted by Sungjemmenla Longkumer.
