A review meeting on the implementation of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA) and related health services was held at the IDSP Conference Hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, on Friday.

The meeting, chaired by Commissioner & Secretary Health & Family Welfare, Anoop Khinchi (IAS), and co-chaired by Principal Director Dr Mereninla Senlem, assessed the quality of health service delivery under the ongoing SNSPA health camps. The program aims to improve healthcare access in rural and tribal areas by deploying specialist medical services.

Officials noted that health facilities across Nagaland continue to conduct activities focusing on the wellbeing of women and children, including screenings, awareness drives, counselling, and community engagement.

The meeting also reviewed the reporting system, resolving to strengthen collaboration between the IT section and vertical programs to streamline reporting, which could further be utilized for research and case studies.

Participants underscored the need for adequate training of staff and regular field monitoring from the state level to ensure proper guidance and improved healthcare delivery.
