About him
Homuka from Luzheto village fell in love with football as a kid when his seniors played football and he was there in the ground only as a ball boy. But that made him grow interested in the game and started playing from 2008. Currently, he plays for Thehekhu FC.

Homuka: Thank you. Proud moment for me and my teammates to make it to the final.

 

MTimes: You are yet to concede a goal in the tournament. How do you feel about that?
Homuka: Feeling great and amazing for me not to concede any goal. Thanks to the defenders in particular for their great effort.

 

MTimes: How prepared are you for the final?
Homuka: Feeling confident and mentally strong for the final. I hope and pray that we perform well and give a good fight.

 

MTimes: How impressed are you with your team?
Homuka: One of the best teammates I have played with so far, very supportive with lots of experienced players.

 

MTimes: What do you think about Mon’s team?
Homuka: They are also a strong team. They are aggressive and their attacking lines are good.

 

MTimes: What has your experience in Mokokchung been like?
Homuka: Quite fascinating to see lots of football lovers. Great place to play and showcase our talent here, hospitality level at its best.
