The Department of Youth Resources and Sports, in collaboration with the Esports Association of Nagaland, is organizing the Hornbill Esports Championship Season 2. The Grand LAN Finals will take place on December 8 and 9 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
The championship will feature top esports athletes from across India competing for a total prize pool of 10 lakh rupees. Sixteen teams will compete in BGMI, and eight teams will participate in Mobile Legends. Individual events will include E-Chess, E-Football, and FC 25.
With 512 team athletes and 240 individual competitors, this edition marks the largest esports participation in Nagaland to date. An Esports Music Festival will also be held on Dec 9 as part of the event.
