Mokokchung, November 24 (MTNews): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung on behalf of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has in a circular informed that Culture Club of Khensa village will represent Mokokchung district in the Hornbill Festival 2022.
“The District Coordination Committee for Hornbill Festival, Mokokchung in its meeting held on November 21 in pursuance of the order vide AC/FEST-1/2016, dated Kohima, the 9th November 2022 selected Culture Club, Khensa village to represent the district in the Hornbill Festival 2022,” the circular read.
Further, it was informed that transportation for the troupe will be arranged by NST Mokokchung Division, while fooding and lodging will be taken care of by the department of Art & Culture, Nagaland, Kohima.
The committee will coordinate with all stakeholders for successful participation of the cultural troupe in Hornbill Festival 2022, it added.
