The ongoing Hornbill Festival has attracted a total of 1,57,071 visitors during its first eight days, according to data from the state tourism department. On December 8, the eighth day of the festival, attendance recorded 18,481 visitors. This number comprised 12,583 local visitors, 5,701 domestic tourists from outside Nagaland, and 197 foreign tourists.

Overall, the total footfall for the eight days included 2,028 foreign tourists, 41,160 domestic tourists, and 1,13,883 local visitors.
