Kohima, 23 May (MTNews): The Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) has taken a significant step towards facilitating the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI) by establishing a dedicated cell. Assisted by the CMMFI Cell, this new initiative aims to provide support and assistance to individuals and businesses interested in availing banking-related benefits offered by the government.
The CMMFI Cell will play a crucial role in monitoring and providing hand-holding support to various beneficiaries, including farmers, entrepreneurs, startups, and business communities. It will guide them through the process of accessing banking-related benefits provided by the government. Additionally, the Deputy Commissioners and all Nodal Departments can utilize the services offered by the CMMFI Cell at IDAN.
The cell will offer a range of free-of-cost services, including CMMFI Loan Assistance for Farmers & Entrepreneurs, preparation and vetting of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), banking and financial literacy programs, awareness campaigns on government-sponsored initiatives, assistance with bank account opening and related issues, access to banking facilities, and other additional support.
