The volunteers conduct sensitization sessions at schools in the state, select underprivileged students with an aptitude for law, train them for CLAT and other competitive exams, and mentor them once they are admitted to law colleges.
IDIA then trains these selected scholars through a rigorous program for the leading law entrance examinations in India. And after admission into leading Indian law schools, IDIA supports these scholars by arranging for sponsorships/scholarships and mentorship schemes.
Asst. Professor Kezhokhoto Savi said Law is a powerful tool that can be deployed by underprivileged communities to help education facilitate gainful employment across many sectors.
