Imchen’s Custom Art School celebrated its third foundation day at the AG Council Hall in Kohima on July 11, with students, parents and well-wishers attending the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Moa Imchen, proprietor of Imchen’s Custom Art School and a 3D animator and architectural designer, thanked the participants for attending despite the ongoing summer vacation.
He said the school offers courses in art, crafts, clay modelling, 3D animation and basic 3D architectural design. He added that the institution is inclusive and provides opportunities for all students, including Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
Encouraging students to develop their creativity, Imchen said the school aims to help them build skills in problem-solving and self-expression. “It is a house of design to try new ideas, embrace mistakes, and turn thoughts into action,” he said. Over the past three years, the school has organised art competitions in connection with observances such as World TB Day, World Music Day, World No Tobacco Day and World Environment Day.
Students of the school have also won accolades in various categories through their participation in inter-school art competitions.
