Mokokchung, 8 April (MTNews): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released predictions indicating light to moderate rainfall across several states in Northeast India over the next two to three days.
As per the forecast, rain accompanied by thunderstorms is likely to occur in most areas of Arunachal Pradesh and in select areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
Additionally, the weather department has issued alerts for thunderstorms and lightning, with strong gusts expected in isolated regions across these states. Wind speeds may reach between 30-40 kmph in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
