Wokha, 25 October (MTNews): Nagaland Minister of Higher Education and Tourism, Temjen Imna Along stated today that the biggest challenge faced by the Nagas is their resistance to accepting criticism and philosophical corrections. This, he said, leads to issues within various organizations, including hohos, church bodies, political and social organizations, village councils, and NGOs.

He said this while inaugurating the 21st Biennial General Conference of the All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) at Mount Tiyi College, Wokha.

In his address, Along emphasized that one should remain open to criticism and stressed that nobody is exempt from correction.

Regarding the conference’s theme, ‘Perseverance,’ he noted that Nagas have lost sight of this concept and emphasized that solutions cannot be achieved in isolation. He urged unity among the Nagas and encouraged them to expand their social circles beyond their “self-imposed narrow boundaries.” He called for a change in attitude towards unity, prosperity, and the embrace of new ideas.
