Impur, 25 April (MTNews): The 66th Graduation Ceremony of Impur Bible Seminary (IBS) was successfully conducted on 25 April 2024 at Impur under the theme “Called to Serve” (Mark 10:42-45). A total of 25 students were conferred Diplomas in Theological Studies this year, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM said in a press release.
The graduation speaker was Rev. Ponen Longchar, Senior Pastor of Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA). During his address, he said that humility is one of the greatest characteristics of God’s service. He added that whoever serves with this characteristic will always excel and find joy in their service. Despite life’s inevitable ups and downs, he urged the graduates to remember that they are in their Master’s service and that He will lead them. Rev. Longchar also encouraged them never to lose trust, but to serve with humility, leaving the rest to God.
Under the able leadership of Mrs. Imtilemla, the Principal, and her team, IBS has been instrumental in sending servants of God not only across India but also beyond its borders.
“ABAM is thankful to God for the life and ministry of IBS. May God continue to prosper IBS ministry,” the Executive Secretary added.
